“I eat, sleep, and sh!t basketball.”: D’Angelo Russell has a strong message after yet another brilliant performance against the Bulls
Minnesota Timberwolves guard D’Angelo Russell has a bold message for everyone listening, backs it up with strong performances.
D’Angelo Russell recently made his way back to the court in a Minnesota Timberwolves uniform. He had been out since early February due to knee surgery. The Timberwolves have the worst league record, and with Russell’s return, they would like to change that till the season ends.
Currently, they occupy the last spot in the West with a 14-40 record. However, with Russell’s return, they have split their games, and are 2-2 in their last 4 games.
The Wolves recorded a 121-117 win over the Bulls last night. D’Lo and KAT both recorded 27 apiece. KAT also added 12 rebounds to the winning cause.
Rookie star Anthony Edwards added 15 points and 5 rebounds. For the Bulls, Zach LaVine added 30 points, but it wasn’t enough to take down the Wolves.
D’Angelo Russell has a bold message following his return
D’Angelo Russell was out of action for almost two months, when he made his return to the court. However, it looks like he hadn’t skipped a beat in his time off. In the four games he has been back, D’Lo has averaged 23.5 points and 5 rebounds a game while coming off the bench.
After the win over the Bulls, DLo spoke to the media, and then he said,
“I eat, sleep, and sh!t basketball.”

The Wolves would like to make more playing time for KAT and DLo, who have barely played a handful of games together. They would also like to integrate the rookie sensation Anthony Edwards in the midst.
With their current spot, it looks like the Wolves are headed towards yet another lottery pick. They already have quite a few talented young players, and if they’re coached right, they can dominate in the coming few years.
