“When Stephen Curry retires, he’ll immediately be a top 10 player of all time”: Kendrick Perkins states how the Golden State Warriors superstar will be an instant top-10 player once he decides to hang up his boots
Kendrick Perkins states how Warriors superstar Stephen Curry will be an instant top-10 player of all-time once all said and done.
No player has quite revolutionised the game in modern basketball as Stephen Curry has. The way the usage of the three-point line has changed is all thanks to the Warriors sharpshooter. For over the last couple of seasons, he has been a nightmare for defenders while shooting the ball virtually anywhere from the hardwood.
Putting up an incredible 53-point performance, Curry managed to grab a 116-107 win over Nikola Jokic and his Nuggets. With an all-time score of 17,818 career points, Stephen Curry is now the leading scorer of the Golden State Warriors franchise.
Following his historic night, Kendrick Perkins stated how the 7-time All-Star will instantly be a top-10 player of all-time. Perkins said:
“When it’s all said and done, when Steph Curry retires, somebody on the top-10 all-time great list is gonna move out the way because when (Curry) retires, he’s gonna be a top-10 player of all-time.”

“Stephen Curry is s also one of the greatest scorers ever”: Kendrick Perkins
Stephen Curry has his name in all the three-point records possible. But according to Perkins, the 2-time NBA MVP is also one of the greatest scorers of all time. With a career average of 23.9 points, while shooting at 43.3% from beyond the three-point line, Curry is known to get buckets at his own will. Perkins added:
“Steph Curry changed the game. Yes, we already know that he is the greatest shooter of all time, but we don’t give him enough credit for being one of the greatest scorers of all time.”
“The way that he is able to finish in the paint without having any elite athleticism or a little bit of athleticism at all. Finishing with nice floaters, below the basket, throw up and under… I mean this guy is phenomenal to watch… This kid is special. He’s gonna be too-10 greatest of all-time.”
Although, this season has been a bit of a struggle for the Warriors. With a subpar 26-28 record, GSW is currently aged 10th in the West. As the regular season is reaching its end, all of Golden State’s players have to support their MVP if they want to avoid sitting out of the playoffs.
