The latest victory came last night, as they beat their California neighbors, the Sacramento Kings 117-113. Stephen Curry was once again the star of the show, scoring 37 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and dishing 4 assists. He did all of that while shooting 7-14 from the deep, and also included a clutch denial at the rim.

Stephen Curry has been in an absolute blinder of a form. In his last 14 games, he has scored over 30 points in 13 of them. With his 7 made 3-pointers tonight, he made a new NBA record for the most 3s in a month. He has 85 made 3s in April, with 2 more games left before the month ends.

Warriors’ star rookie James Wiseman got injured 9 games ago when the Dubs hosted the Houston Rockets. Since then, the Warriors have had a 7-2 record to show for themselves. The Warriors have the best overall defensive rating, at 104.9, and the 4th best offensive rating at 116.7. The Warriors also lead the league in the Net Rating differential at 11.8.

While James Wiseman’s addition to the team is a major boost, he still has a lot of learning to do. Under the guidance of the coaching staff, and with seasoned campaigners such as Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson to mentor him, Wiseman can grow quite a lot. There are high hopes from the rookie, and even though his rookie season is done for, one can be sure he would try to make a strong return next season.
