Rahul Dravid is not at all happy with Virat Kohli
Around fifteen years ago, a young boy from Karnataka was slowly making his mark in international cricket. Rahul Dravid was an unassuming young man with the heart of a champion and who would stop at nothing to achieve his dream of taking Indian cricket to new heights.
Not only did he become one of the greatest batsmen that India has ever produced, Rahul Dravid is also widely acknowledged as a gentleman and a wonderful ambassador for the gentleman’s game.

Known to be someone who rarely got involved in any verbal spars, Dravid like most of his team mates represented an Indian team that mainly focused on fighting their battles with the bat and ball in hand.
Things are different now, as Virat Kohli’s team are not shy of getting involved in verbals spars if need be during the match. Some would say that they even cross the line on a few occasions, with the test series against Australia earlier in the year being one such example.
Dravid though is not very impressed by this but accepts that it is working for the team right now. He also feels that Virat sometimes goes over the top during his press conferences before any series.
“Virat sometimes comes across as outrageous and I cringe on reading his statements before a series. But if he can bring the best out of himself by needling the opposition, so be it,” Dravid quoted according to TNN.
Dravid was also asked to give his opinion on Kumble’s resignation as the head coach after the Champions trophy a few months ago.
“It is unfortunate for a legend who was part of the highest number of winning Indian teams to see unceremonious departure. At the same time, it is quite common that coaches always get sacked. I also am the Under-19 Indian team coach. I may also be sacked.”
