Virat Kohli’s retirement plans are quite clear
Indian skipper Virat Kohli is a man of aggression. He never settles for anything less. He loves to create and break records. His consistency levels are a testimony to the fact.
Virat never fights out a drab. He is good at sorting out his woes before it’s too late. He has 32 ODI centuries and is behind Sachin Tendulkar’s record-setting spree of 49 tons.
Known for the knack of chasing, Virat Kohli has opened up about the retirement plans ahead of his 29th birthday. He added when he would stop playing his favourite sport.
Stressing the fact that whenever his passion on the game lacks colour, he will cease plying the trade. Being a fitness freak, he is giving his best to get the better of himself.
Kohli wants to respect his own body. He said that he never wants to put weight on his shoulders when he feels everything is done and dusted.
“The motivation is just about winning. The day the passion ends, I will stop playing. I’ll never want to drag myself for more than my body can take.
When the feeling of pushing oneself back from failure subsides and the ability to try yet again stops, continuing from there on is impossible for a sportsperson.
I’ll stop playing when I will feel I am just standing on the field without the passion and energy of winning when the game becomes “more of a participation thing,” Kohli added according to the quotes from Sportskeeda.
