New York Giants Lawsuit: The Giants find themselves facing a lawsuit after former employee David Maltese accused them of creating a hostile workplace and wrongfully terminating him.
The former video director had many complaints against the Giants. He believed their workplace was filled with intimidation and violence.
Maltese recalls physical abuse and much more to aid his case. Additionally, he also speaks bout the Giants threatening him.
A former Giants video director is suing the organization, alleging “a culture of violence in the workplace by Giants’ management toward subordinates.”

David Maltese Recalls Incidents Of Physical Violence Against Him In New York Giants Lawsuit
Maltese worked with the Giants for 30 years before he was fired after making these allegations against New York. The whole thing started out with Maltese simply reporting a case of violent workplace behavior to Giants staff.
Maltese had witnessed his supervisor, Tyseer Siam, assault a subordinate, Steven Venditti, in Septemeber 2020. When Maltese reported this, he was fired in March 2021.
However, Maltese claims that Venditti’s incident is just one of many examples of a hostile workplace. In 2004, Maltese was “ragefully tackled” by former assistant coach Dave DeGuglielmo who “[drove] him into a table while screaming, ‘I am going to kill you.’”
William Heller, the Giants’ senior vice president and general counsel, also told Maltese that if revealed information from the Giants’ private meetings that he would “…“personally go into your office and strangle you until you can no longer breathe, ok? OK?””
This attack took place in front of several high ranking Giants employees like Chris Mara, the Giants senior vice president of player personnel, but no action was taken.
Therefore, as per the lawsuit Maltese is seeking compensation in monetary terms for “pain, suffering, stress, humiliation, mental anguish, emotional harm and personal physical injury and physical sickness, medical expenses, as well as damage to his reputation and loss of income.”
