“The NBA needs to put a stop to this B******T”: Stephen A Smith pleads the NBA to take stricter actions against unruly fans in the audience
NBA Analyst Stephen A Smith is beyond infuriated by the actions of unruly fans in Philadelphia and New York, demands stricter actions
Yesterday was not a very bright day for basketball. There were three exciting games of basketball. The Sixers beat the Wizards 120-95 and took a 2-0 lead on the series. The New York Knicks beat the Atlanta Hawks 101-92 and leveled the series at one apiece. The Utah Jazz got Donovan Mitchell back and bagged a 141-129 win. They now are tied with Memphis Grizzlies at one apiece, heading to Memphis.
However, the actions of a few fans ruined the day for a lot of people. The first incident was when a fan threw popcorn at Russell Westbrook, as he was heading back to the locker room after getting injured.
Russell Westbrook appeared to have popcorn poured on his head by a fan on his way to the locker room with an apparent injury.

The second occurred when Trae Young was inbounding the ball. A fan in the second row seemed to have spit on him then.
Did a Knicks fan spit on Trae Young? 😬

Stephen A Smith demands strict actions against such ‘fans’
It is always fun for teams to have fans that are passionate. However, sometimes some fans get carried away and do unspeakable things. The same happened last night.
Stephen A Smith does not take what happened lightly. He wants the NBA to take a stricter approach against such people. He also wants the media to showcase these offenders publicly. Smith does not understand how the audience can do such things and get away, while if a player would do so, that would basically end his career.
The @NBA needs to send a strong message in putting a stop to this BullS&@$!!! pic.twitter.com/Jy4HYq38zB

Stephen A Smith isn’t wrong here. The NBA should take stricter actions, so that such horrendous things do not happen again.
