"Suns fan shows off his money during Giannis Antetokounmpo's free throws": Stan Van Gundy was tickled by 'Money Man' during Greek Freak's free throws in NBA Finals Game 5

Suns fan tries a new method of intimidation on Giannis Antetokounmpo during his free throw routine, and the NBA community can’t stop laughing

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been sensational throughout the NBA finals, and performed brilliantly once again in game 5. However, if there is one thing that is more consistent than the player’s amazing performances, it is the dreary lengthiness of his free-throw routine.

Of course, the Greek Freak isn’t exactly the best free-throw shooter on the planet, and that theme continued during Game 5, with the player shooting 4 of 11 from the charity stripe. And of course, a masse reason for that is all the booing and jeering he gets from opposition fans just behind the bucket.

But, while most fans choose to go merely the counting route, and it seems one of them intended to go above and beyond. And the NBA community can’t seem to stop laughing at it.

“1K Man”: The NBA Community has already come up with a name for this off-beat Suns fan inspired by his tactics against Giannis Antetokounmpo

Most NBA fans know the drill by now. Every time Giannis Antetokounmpo is handed the ball during a free-throw, Suns will chant from 1-10, sometimes further, to hasten the process of the player getting his shot up.

Given his numbers from the free-throw line, some could argue these methods are effective. However, it seems that one male Suns fan wanted more. To see what he did, take a look at the clip in the tweet below.

1K man indeed.

To be fair to him, Giannis did miss the free-throw in the clip badly. However, if he wants a trick that’ll win Phoenix the game, it appears he’ll have to do a lot better than that.
