“Guess Luka Doncic has some of LeBron James in him”: Skip Bayless mocks Mavericks and Lakers stars after Luka apparently hurt his shoulder during Clippers’ Game 3 win
Co-host of the Undefeated takes a jab at LeBron James and Luka Doncic together, as the Clippers beat the Mavericks in Game 3
The Los Angeles Clippers broke their shackles and finally made their presence felt in the series. After losing two games on a trot, the Clippers came to Dallas and took Game 3 from the home team. Despite an impressive game from Luka Doncic, the Mavericks could not avoid a 118-108 loss. Luka led all scorers with 44 points and grabbed 9 rebounds and 9 assists to go along with it. The Clippers rode on impressive performances of their stars.
Paul George and Kawhi Leonard combined for a very efficient 65 points. Kawhi scored 36 points and grabbed 8 rebounds while shooting 13/17 from the field. PG scored 29 points and grabbed 7 rebounds while shooting 11/18 from the field. Marcus Morris came up with big triples in the final frame and finished with 15 points.
Skip Bayless draws a comparison between Luka Doncic and LeBron James
We have seen LeBron James back on the court during the last week and a half, and he looks ready for the playoffs. However, there have been moments when LeBron stays down on the ground for a little longer after a foul or tries to draw fouls via acting. Luka Doncic seemed to have hurt his shoulder in the second half, but there were no signs of the same happening on the court.
Skip Bayless believes Luka Doncic picked up the same habit from his senior. Luka and LeBron have always appeared to share a bond, and according to Skip, Luka finally has started showing signs of the same. He then also used a chance to comment about the poor free-throw shooting of both the players.
Funny how, when Doncic realized they were about to lose, he started grimacing and favoring his left shoulder. Guess he’s got some LeBron in him. He’s an even worse free-throw shooter than the King. Clippers hunted him and cooked him on D. You can have Luka. Give me Kawhi.

Luka Doncic, whether he was acting or not, would need more from his team in order to win. After two wonderful showings in LA, his entire support cast fell quiet tonight, and that clearly reflected throughout the game. The Clippers would look to tie the series on Sunday before heading back to LA.
