Former WWE Star makes AEW Debut at Double or Nothing
Former WWE Star makes AEW Debut at Double or Nothing. He entered as the joker in the Casino Battle Royal in tonight’s pay per view.
AEW Double or Nothing featured a Casino Battle Royal with the winner receiving a future shot at the world title. The match, while like a normal battle royal, is a little different in its structure. It begins with 5 performers while 5 others join every three minutes. The 21st entrant, the joker, joins the match alone in the end.

20 of the 21 participants were selected announced before the match. They were grouped based on the suit they drew from a deck of cards. However, the 21st who drew the joker was kept as a surprise to be revealed at the pay per view. 12 minutes after the match began the joker was finally unveiled as a former WWE Superstar

Unfortunately, he did not win the match. His elimination at the hands of private party was met with a chorus of boos from the crowd.
It is not known what kind of deal AEW has with Rush. Is this a one-off or has he signed a full-time contract details. We will have to wait for more news to emerge on this but he should make for a fine addition should he join the AEW roster.
Rush was one of the most sought-after free agents since getting released on Black Wednesday back in 2020. Since then, he has wrestled in the indies while simultaneously releasing two studio albums titled “Ever After” and “The Final Match.”
