“Damian Lillard stepped back 25 feet”: Charles Barkley reacts to a hilariously accurate impersonation of himself on NBAonTNT
An NBA fan makes an incredibly accurate video, impersonating Charles Barkley, to which the Suns legend reacts to on NBAonTNT.
The NBAonTNT crew was assembled to provide in-depth and accurate analysis from legends that have played within the league and/or were around these athletes for years on end. The 4-man group of Shaq, Charles Barkley, Kenny, and Ernie have taken to the NBAonTNT set for nearly 10 years together to do just that.
However, another staple of this show has been these 4 simply relishing in each other’s company by goofing off and creating videos that inadvertently go viral. The lovable nature of characters such as Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal has caused fans to feel a sense of endearment towards them.
On a slightly unrelated note, Chuck has always spoken with a certain cadence in his voice. It’s quite difficult to replicate the way he speaks. Last year, when the Last Dance released, a fan had actually tried to impersonate the Suns legend by saying the word ‘terrible’ the way he says it. It was quite a decent try but the most recent impersonation most definitely takes the cake.
A Charles Barkley impersonator in shown on the NBAonTNT show.
A user who goes by the name of ‘FunnyDanny’ online released a video yesterday of himself impersonating Charles Barkley. Everything from the cadence with which he spoke, the inflections in his voice, to the actual matter of what he said were perfect down to the T. So much so that the NBAonTNT crew reacted to it last night.

It’s great to see that Charles Barkley is down to be made fun of through some lighthearted banter as you have to commend the impersonator for nailing the video.
Shaq has also had his fair share of impressions done on him as most notably, Jay Pharoah quite accurately portrayed him in a segment during the NBA Awards in 2019.
