‘Luka Doncic didn’t want fans to body shame him’: Mavs star appeared to reject Paul George’s jersey swap after Game 7 loss vs Clippers
Mavericks star Luka Doncic rejects Paul George’s attempt to swap jerseys and NBA Twitter is having a field day clowning about it
The Los Angeles Clippers broke the home-court curse and beat the Dallas Mavericks last night. With the 126-111 win, the Clippers have now made their way to the Western Conference Semi-Finals.
Luka Doncic, who got knocked out in the first-round series for the second straight time, was sensational. He scored a game-high 46 points, dished 14 assists, and grabbed 7 rebounds. After the game, Paul George came over to talk to him, and wanted to swap jerseys. However, Luka seemed to not be interested in the idea at all.

The fans could not believe what they saw and had a gala time mocking PG.

Luka Doncic did not want to do it in front of the cameras
During the post-game presser, Luka Doncic did clear up the whole situation. He said he sent a jersey for PG to the locker room.
“I did send one after, in the locker room.”

This made people change their statements from PG slander to Luka.

While the series did not go how Luka would have wanted, he showed signs of a true superstar in the making. If he keeps improving at this pace, there is a good chance he would be in MVP conversations more often than he already is. As for now, it’s PG and his Clippers making their way to Utah, for the Semi-Finals.
