LeBron James Joins Kobe Bryant & Kevin Durant As NBA Players To Win Emmy As A Producer
NBA players aren’t known for their work as producing award winning series, but lately there have been a few more of them. Kobe Bryant was the first to take up the mantle. His short movie “Dear Basketball” was sensational on its way to winning an Emmy Award.
The film talked about Kobe’s love for the game, and how he had to walk away from it as his body started failing him. It was emotional and deserved the award.

Kevin Durant also joined in on the fun when he produced “Q Ball”. This was a documentary about convicts struggling to find their place in the world and how they turned to basketball to help them out.
Honored, thank you 🙏🏾. Everyone can watch Q Ball now on Netflix https://t.co/xGtQh0PvmM

LeBron’s series was more of a casual, relaxed, “sit down and talk ball” kind of production. The show won the award for “Outstanding Edited Sports Series.” LeBron’s takes on the show are always entertaining. It’s function is always to be a casual show that fans can tune into at anytime.
