“Remember when I said Chris Paul deserves MVP over Nikola Jokic?”: Kendrick Perkins praises the Suns star after an irresistible Game 2 performance vs Nuggets
Former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins reminds everyone why Chris Paul should have been 2021 NBA MVP over Nikola Jokic.
The ESPN analyst had made his case for CP3 as the 2021 NBA MVP a while back. Though, Paul didn’t win the MVP this year. The performance he put up in Game 2 of the semi-finals against the current MVP Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets was nothing short of a spectacle.
The 11x NBA All-Star had a double-double in Game 2 with zero turnovers. There were some great moments during the match that included Paul dishing out some mind-boggling assists to Dario Saric, Deandre Ayton, and Jae Crowder.
Cp3 entertained the audience at the Suns’ arena, with some amazing razzle and dazzle followed by some great alley-oop dunks and ball-handling.
The All-Time great point guard Chris Paul
It would not be wrong to say that CP3 is one of the best floor generals in the league today. The NBA veteran’s presence in any team has always taken them to the next level.
A case in point being his stint in Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, and the LA Clippers, who were known as Lob City during his time there.
Former NBA player and now ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins had been repeatedly on record making his case for CP3 as MVP. The former NBA champion put out a series of tweets post the Suns winning their second game and leading the series 2-0.
Remember when I was trying to make an argument about CP3 was the MVP?! Carry the hell on…
