“Come on Terance Mann! You’ve got to know how much you scored”: Paul George mocks Clippers’ forward after career high 39 point performance in Game 6 vs Jazz
Clippers star Paul George mocks Terance Mann as he did not know how many points he’d scored in the Clippers’ Game 6 win over the Jazz
Game 6 of the Western Conference Semis will go down as the best game in Los Angeles Clippers history. For the first time in franchise history, the Clippers have entered the Conference Finals. There was one name that stood out on Friday night – Terance Mann.
The second year guard out of Florida State has been exceptionally well through the series. However, Mann saved his best game for when it mattered the most. In a historic 25-point comeback Game 6 performance, the 6-foot-5 swingman put up 39 points on an incredible 71/70/100 shooting splits, leading his team to a stunning 131-119 victory against Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz.

With superstar Kawhi Leonard sidelined with injuries, Mann filled in his role and started the last two games. Calling him a good replacement would be an understatement.
After a career night, Terance Mann surprisingly didn’t know how many points he had scored
Deservingly, as Mann took the bench with the game almost over, he got a standing ovation from the crowd present at Staples Center. After having a historic night as he did, one would expect Mann to remember the number of points he scored. However, surprisingly, the 24-year-old was unaware of his stat-line. During a postgame interview alongside Paul George and ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, Mann learned about his career-high performance:
PG: “You gotta know what you had!”
Mann: “I don’t know. I looked up, I had 34. That’s the last thing I see.”
PG: “That was a while ago.”

Mann’s historic performance got him praises from the entire NBA community. His own leader Paul George gave him some high deserved praises. George said:
“Yes, yes! We’ve been on him to shoot the ball. He works on his game so much, one of the best young players I’ve been around, reminds me a lot of myself.”
“You saw a full complete game from a second-year player. You saw him stretch the floor, you saw him defensively, you saw him rebound, you saw him muscle his way to the basket. I mean, you just saw so many flashes of so many different things. And he did in the most crucial part of the game, I think that’s what most impressive. Honestly, he single-handedly willed us back.”

Well, now that Terance Mann knows he has put up 39 crucial points in a historic performance, there is no way he is going to forget about it anytime soon.
However, now that Kawhi might be sidelined the remaining postseason, Mann will have to keep up such performances against Chris Paul and co. in the Clippers’ first-ever conference finals appearance.
