“Damian Lillard to the Utah Jazz?”: Blazers star roasts terrible Photoshop job triggering constant trade rumors with a dash of humor

Damian Lillard recently trolled a fan for photoshopping him in a Utah Jazz jersey.

The Portland superstar recently expressed his disappointment over the first-round elimination of the Trail Blazers in an Instagram post. The former rookie of the year averaged 34.3 PPG, 10.2 APG, and 4.3 rebounds in the 6 games against the Denver Nuggets.

The post led to a lot of speculation about the 6x NBA All-Star wanting out of Portland. There were rumors of the Knicks and Lakers already engaging in talks with the Trail Blazers to acquire the star point guard.

In his 9 seasons as a Blazer, Lillard has never been able to make it beyond a conference final appearance. Despite putting up some sensational performances, the Blazers have failed him as a franchise.

In his 8 post-season appearances Lillard has averaged 25.7 PPG, 6.2 APG, and 4.5 RPG on a 41.2% shooting from the field and 88.7% from the free-throw line.

Dame Time has proven to be one of the most clutch players in recent times. The Portland superstar has had an umpteen no of game-winning shots. That includes sending many teams like the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder home during playoffs.

Does Damian Lillard really want out?

The Blazers recently parted ways with their head coach Terry Stots. Meanwhile, Lillard is playing an active role in recruiting the next coach for the Blazer. Though the talks with Jason Kidd didn’t go as planned. The Portland franchise has finalized Chauncey Billups and Becky Hammon as the top choices for the position as per sources.

However, the internet has been averse to this situation, planting stories daily of Lillard leaving the Trail Blazers for other teams in the NBA.

Most recently a fan tweeted a photoshopped picture of Lillard in a Utah Jazz jersey. Lillard, who usually doesn’t respond to rumors couldn’t help but retweet the picture with a hilarious reaction.
