Milwaukee Bucks Finals History: The Bucks are one game away from making the NBA Finals as they hold a 3-2 lead going into game six at Atlanta.
Milwaukee fans are crying for Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Brook Lopez to bring it back home after a strong showing in game five. Lopez dropped a career high 33 points as the Bucks pulled off a dominant victory against the Trae Young-less Hawks.
Giannis is out once more for game six while Trae Young is still questionable. The Hawks will look to put themselves back in the series and force a game seven, but they will face an uphill battle if their star point guard can’t play.

Milwaukee Bucks Finals History: When Was The Last Time The Bucks Made The NBA Finals?
If Milwaukee wins, they’ll be going back to the NBA Finals after a long time. The Bucks last went to the Finals in 1974 which means it has been an incredibly long 47 years for Milwaukee fans.
That year, the John Havlicek led Celtics would take down the Bucks who were led by franchise superstars Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson.
The Bucks also made the Finals in the 1971 season when they faced off the against the Baltimore Bullet. This year also marks the Bucks one and only championship win in their entire existence. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar won Finals MVP averaging 27 points per game and 18.5 rebounds per game.
Since 1974, the Bucks have made the Conference Finals a number of times, but they’ve never made it back to the Finals stage. However, if things go right for them tonight, they could be back once again.
Giannis Antetokounmpo could return for the Finals as well, giving him a chance to bring Milwaukee its first title since the days of Kareem and Oscar Robertson. The Bucks don’t have an easy path ahead of them, but holding a 3-2 lead with their superstar out is the perfect scenario they could ask for.
