“Let it be known!”: Isiah Thomas’ incredible statline that even NBA’s GOAT point guards like Stephen Curry and Magic Johnson can’t match
Isiah Thomas retweets a major accomplishment in his career that has yet to be beaten by any NBA player to this day
Many in the NBA community often forget the greatness of Isiah Thomas due to all the hate surrounding his name. But, the fact of the matter is, the former player is one of the greatest to ever lace up.
Over the course of his career, Thomas accumulated 2 NBA championships, 12 All-Star appearances, 5 All-NBA selections, 2-All Star MVPs, and a Finals MVP and an Assist championship. For a player to have achieved so much and still be this underappreciated is something close to a crime for sure.
Recently though, a Twitter account called ‘Hoop History’ shared a video appreciating Thomas’s greatness. And seeing this, it seems the former player couldn’t help but react to it.
“Let it be known”: Isiah Thomas demands more respect as the only peron to achieve this incredible feat in the NBA
Let’s be honest here. Despite his greatness, we’ve all laughed at Isiah Thomas a little, and justifiably so. He wasn’t exactly the kind of player you’d get along with. The then Pistons star made dirty plays constantly, that sometimes even put players’ careers in danger.
While it is difficult getting behind that kind of person, his greatness must not be undermined. Recently, Hoop History made it be known that Thomas is the only player in NBA history, to average 20+ points, and 13 assists. And in response, Isiah had only one thing to say.
Take a look at the tweet below.

We don’t blame the former star for tooting his own horn a bit here. At the end of the day, his achievements are often undermined and forgotten.
We hope that one day, fans will not only look at his dirty plays, but see the whole player. Only then can the greatness of Isiah Thomas truly be appreciated.
