“The Bucks earned that win and it had NOTHING to do with the officiating”: Kendrick Perkins goes off about Chris Paul and the Suns blaming Scott Foster for Game 3

NBA Analyst Kendrick Perkins snubs Chris Paula and the Suns for their complaints while complimenting Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks 

The Milwaukee Bucks finally got on the board. After two losses in Phoenix, the Bucks came raging and took Game 3. Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Bucks stepped out on the court with a determination to win, and win they did. They beat the Phoenix Suns 120-100.

Giannis displayed his brilliance, and scored 41 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished 6 assists. Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton finally found their rhythm and pitched in with 21 and 18 points respectively. However, the more impressive feat was containing the Phoenix Suns. The Suns could not find their flow offensively, and it clearly showed. Chris Paul was the highest scorer with 19 points. The Bucks held Devin Booker off to a mere 10 points, which is an incredible feat. After the game, Kendrick Perkins made a few comments about the Suns’ post-game interviews.

Kendrick Perkins talks about Game 3 and the officiating

Game 3 in Milwaukee had Scott Foster as one of the officials for the game. If you arent aware of Scott Foster and Chris Paul’s history, before Game 3, Paul was 0-11 in the last 11 games that Foster officiated. The record has now gone to 0-12. In the post-game interviews, the Suns, especially HC Monty Willaims talked about the officiating and pointed fingers.

However, Kendrick Perkins was having none of that. He went on-air and made it clear that Game 3 was a fair loss for the Suns. Perkins said,

We’re not about to start this Scott Foster and CP3 madness! The Bucks earned that win tonight and it had NOTHING to do with the officiating. Giannis DOMINATED, Middleton and Holiday showed up and PJ Tucker made winning plays that didn’t show up the stats sheet. Carry on…

Perkins is right. Giannis and co. did show up big time and dominate. However, Chris Paul and his 0-12 record with Scott Foster does stir up some noise. It would be interesting to see if the league brings back Foster for another game in the Finals, or would the Suns try to influence that away.

Game 4 of the NBA Finals takes place on Wednesday in Milwaukee.
