“Giannis Antetokounmpo went from Robin to the most dominant player in the league?”: NBA Twitter cannot handle Kendrick Perkins and his drastic change in opinion about the Bucks superstar
NBA Twitter cannot believe how fast ESPN Analyst Kendrick Perkins changed his statement about Bucks’ superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo
Being an analyst is not an easy thing. It requires an in-depth knowledge of the game, and the ability to engineer probable outcomes if certain changes are made. There is a reason why a lot of the successful analysts are former NBA players. However, nowadays, it feels as if the ‘analysts’ focus more on getting views than getting actual information out.
An example of the same is when Kendrick Perkins called 2x MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo ‘Robin’ to Khris Middleton’s Batman. Fast forward to yesterday, barely 2 weeks after his initial statement, Perkins was seen calling Giannis Antetokounmpo ‘the most dominant player in the NBA’.
“[Giannis] is the most dominant player in the NBA.”

NBA Twitter cannot handle Kendrick Perkins and his flopping opinions
It is one thing to omit your past views and change them to something else. However, when you change your views as drastically as this, that too on National Television, you are sure to be called out. After the video of Kendrick Perkins calling Giannis ‘the most dominant player in the league’ came out, NBA Twitter could not contain itself.
There were quite a lot of people who called Perkins out on him flipping his opinions 180.
Two weeks ago Perk said Giannis is Robin. Now he’s the most dominant in the nba??

He went from saying Giannis wasn’t even their best player to saying this 😂

Giannis is the most dominant player in the NBA but just last week he was Robin. SMH…. Make it make sense! pic.twitter.com/lIeZ0ygQlB

Kendrick Perkins is the king of being prisoner of the moment. Less than 2 weeks ago he said Giannis is Robin, but now he’s the most dominant player in the league? I don’t get how anyone takes anything this guy says seriously

These sports shows are so much like this these days. pic.twitter.com/Q0r3WWyF8N

It would be interesting to see if Perkins’ opinions about Giannis vary again if the Greek Freak fails to perform in the upcoming games.
