Giannis Antetokounmpo is spending no time thinking about his NBA Finals game saving block on Deandre Ayton in game four of the NBA Finals.

Instead, he’s looking ahead to game give, getting ready to play in perhaps the series most important game now. The Bucks star has been sensational throughout the NBA Finals and his block on Deandre Ayton seemed to epitomize his performances throughout the series.

However, the Bucks star hasn’t watched any replays or highlights of his block till very recently as he doesn’t look to dwell in the past.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Believes Looking At The Past Is Indulging Your Ego

Why isn’t the Milwaukee star all over his game sealing block? Well, that’s because ‘The Greek Freak’ believes that looking at the past is useless.

All it does is heighten your ego, making you more cocky and arrogant, in the eyes of the Bucks superstar. That’s why, Giannis isn’t looking back at game four but ahead to game five.

So far, Giannis’ philosophy has been working. He’s been sensational during these NBA Finals, being the leader Milwaukee needs him to be in order to take down Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and the rest of the Phoenix Suns.

For the series, Giannis is averaging 32.3 points per game, 14 rebounds per game, and 5.5 assists per game all while shooting an incredible 61.3% from the field. He’s been the key to the Bucks comeback from down 2-0 in the series. Giannis will look to continue his dominance in game five in Phoenix.

This game is going to be incredibly important given the fact that most of the time, the team that wins game five goes on to win the series.
