Thunder fans were livid at the fact that he was pairing up with a team who had just beaten him in the playoffs, a team that went 73-9 the last year, a team that would be invincible for a few years.

If you were following the NBA at the time Kevin Durant left, you would know that the league had adopted a very toxic stance towards his move, burning his jersey and much more. So, when this fan claimed that KD had simply made up this toxicity in his head, Durant had to respond.
