“They didn’t ‘let me’, I sneaked the Tequila in!”: LeBron James hilariously admits to smuggling liquor into Phoenix Suns Arena while supporting Chris Paul
LeBron James is ‘allowed’ to bring in Tequila to Game 5 of the NBA Finals, and fans go crazy as cameras catch him in the act in 4k
Game 5 of the NBA Finals was beyond incredible. The only thing we wanted more than watching it live, is perhaps being able to see it courtside, a luxury LeBron James very evidently could afford.
Yep, during a pivotal game in his close friend’s career, the King was finally able to be in attendance to show his support. But, it seems the Lakers star also committed a slightly mischievous act on the way to his seats.
When the LeBron James sits courtside, you know the cameras will pan to him at every opportunity. Unfortunately for him though, the cameras caught something that perhaps the star didn’t want revealed. And after the game, he let all his thoughts about it be known on Twitter.
Without further ado, let’s get into it.
“Bring your own Tequila!”: LeBron James hilariously responds to fans discovering his little pre-game routine ahead of game 5
As most in the NBA community will know, fans aren’t allowed to bring their own food and alcohol into the arena for many different reasons. However, when you’re LeBron James, it seems that rule doesn’t really apply.
During the game, a picture was revealed, showing a bottle of Tequila between the King’s legs. And well, right after fans and reporters discovered it, you had tweets such as this one going up.
They let LeBron bring his own bottle of tequila into the arena tonight 😂

When he saw NBA Twitter acting up about the whole incident, it seems the Lakers star just had to respond. And his tweet, while a little cryptic, is just hilarious.
They let me??? Ok we’ll go with that! “BYOT” Bring Your Own Tequila! 😁😎🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺 @Lobos1707 https://t.co/HbfenvIK8O

Judging by how much of that bottle is empty, King James must have been having quite the night watching his pal playing his heart out in Game 5.
But will he be able to watch CP3 win his first-ever NBA championship? Or will Giannis Antetokounmpo be the party pooper and run the LeBron buzz?
