“Giannis will be the 2nd best power forward of all time!”: Kendrick Perkins believes Charles Barkley, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki will be left in the dust by the Bucks star in a few years
Kendrick Perkins believes Giannis Antetokounmpo is on track to become the second greatest Power Forward of all time
Giannis Antetokounmpo has of course been considered as one of the best players in the NBA for a while now. However, after his incredible performances in the Finals, he has started to insert himself into the all-time great conversations already. And frankly, it’s completely justified.
Of course, at this point, everyone is aware of the star dropping a 50 piece in game 6 against the Suns. However, what has flown under the radar, is the star hardly ever had a bad game. And that applies to the entirety of this year’s playoffs.
Granted, the Greek Freak isn’t the perfect player. But, for almost throughout this postseason, he was the ideal version of himself, and simply dominated the teams he faced.
Now, many have been a bit hazy on where Giannis currently stands all time. But, it seems that Kendrick Perkins has absolutely no doubts on the subject. And let’s just say, his verdict is sure to do more than just raise a few eyebrows.
“I strongly believe he will be the No.2 Power Forward of all time”: Kendrick Perkins announces his lofty expectations for Giannis Antetokounmpo
Those are some high expectations alright.
At first, this doesn’t really sound like much of a hot take. However, when you consider the fact that Karl Malone, Kevin Garnett, Charles Barkley, and even Dirk Nowitzki are in the running for the position, this statement becomes just a bit more shocking.
What’s Big Perk’s reasoning here? Take a look at the clip in the tweet below.
When it’s all said and done when Giannis career is over I strongly believe he will be the No.2 power forward of all time, behind Tim Duncan! Carry the hell on… https://t.co/Drf85crzn6

At the end of the day, we can’t decide on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s legacy just yet. People may forget, but the player is only 26-years-old after all. Technically, he has only barely entered his prime.
Still though, surpassing all the greats before him is undoubtedly going to be a daunting task. Can the Greek Freak really do it?
Only time will tell.
