“I think he’s pretty relaxed”– Lewis Hamilton relaxed despite never before seen personal attacks
“I think he’s pretty relaxed”– Lewis Hamilton is absolutely relaxed even though he had to hear one of the most unpleasant remarks.
Lewis Hamilton wasn’t spared by the fans and Red Bull’s leadership after his collision with Max Verstappen at Silverstone; even Max Verstappen called hamilton’s win celebration after the British GP unsportsmanlike.
Glad I’m ok. Very disappointed with being taken out like this. The penalty given does not help us and doesn’t do justice to the dangerous move Lewis made on track. Watching the celebrations while still in hospital is disrespectful and unsportsmanlike behavior but we move on pic.twitter.com/iCrgyYWYkm

Meanwhile, Hamilton hasn’t responded to any of the remarks, even the racist comments he was subjected to online. Though, Toto Wolff reveals that the Briton is relaxed despite all the harsh comments.
“I think he’s pretty relaxed about it, honestly,” said Wolff to Motorsport.com. “It is a very polarising story, and some of the comments that were made were very personal and probably inflamed the situation more. But overall, he’s good.”
Despite the aggressive reaction from Red Bull’s camp, most of the grid and F1 experts have classified it as a racing incident, with Hamilton having no malicious intentions. Even FIA also describes his penalty as justified.
Mercedes wouldn’t have celebrated.
Moreover, Wolff reiterated that they thought Verstappen was fine after the communication between Christian Horner and Michael Masi. Wolff assured, if Mercedes had an idea about Verstappen going to the hospital, they wouldn’t have celebrated.
“So at no point would we have celebrated if Max would have been injured. And I think that’s very important to understand. Lewis asked, even in the car as he was passing the accident, whether he [Verstappen] was out of the car.”
“He got the response that he was out of the car himself.”
