“Anyone who thinks Kyle Kuzma and Dennis Schroder feuded is a clown”: Lakers star’s agent puts a rest to the rumors revolving around LeBron James’ teammates
Kyle Kuzma’s agent takes to Instagram to call ‘cap’ on the rumors that Kuzma and Dennis Schroder feuded all throughout the season.
The 2020-21 Los Angeles Lakers dealt with a tremendous amount of obstacles on their way to a disappointing first round exit at the hands of the Phoenix Suns.
Injuries to superstars like LeBron James and Anthony Davis seemed like the only unfortunate thing to take place within the Lakers organization. However, reports have now come out that Kyle Kuzma and Dennis Schroder were feuding throughout the regular season.
According to a tweet from Jordan Schultz, Dennis Schroder and Kyle Kuzma didn’t see eye-to-eye on several situations and the intensity between the two increased as the Playoffs rolled around. Both the Lakers stars had a similar narrative surrounding them in 2020-21 and that was that they severely underperformed.
League sources say Dennis Schroder and Kyle Kuzma feuded throughout the season, with things going further south throughout the #Lakers’ first-round series loss to Phoenix. Interesting note to consider heading into the draft and free agency.

Moreover, both Kuzma and Schroder have come out and claimed that they are deserving of more than what they are currently receiving. The German native turned down an $84 million contract in hopes of being offered something around the $120 million range. Kuzma, on the other hand, has repeatedly said that he believes he’s an All-NBA level talent, like Jayson Tatum.
The Kyle Kuzma-Dennis Schroder feud rumors are fake, according to Kuzma’s agent
Vin Sparacio, Kyle Kuzma’s manager, took to his Instagram stories to screenshot the Jordan Schultz report and react to it with a simple clown emoji. This, of course, leads fans to believe that the rumors of them feuding are most likely fake.
Interestingly enough, the response from Laker fans online wasn’t as demonstrative as one would’ve imagined. Though Dennis Schroder and Kyle Kuzma produced duds in the Playoffs, they are still two relatively integral parts of the Lakers roster construction at the moments.
Fans, however, seemed glad that the two were reportedly feuding, as they believed this meant they would leave LA for ‘greater avenues’. With the amount of money Schroder is looking for this offseason, it’s not looking like the Lakers will be keen on re-signing. Besides, the purple and gold have been linked to guys like Kemba Walker, Russell Westbrook, and even Chris Paul for a while now.
As for Kyle Kuzma, he could be used in a trade package for the aforementioned star point guards. This would greatly benefit the LakeShow and the Kuzma as the former would receive a player that would fill a major hole in their offense while the latter could shine in a bigger role elsewhere.
