“Kanye West helped the Timberwolves improve their record with a tweet”: When the Donda rapper said he’d fix the Wolves and inadvertently aided Karl Anthony Towns and co
Kanye West once tweeted out that he’d ‘fix the Wolves’ and ever since then, Karl Anthony Towns and company have gotten better by a tiny margin.
If there’s one thing Kanye West is known for outside of his music, it’s his online presence. The ‘Stronger’ rapper has made a name for himself on the social media platform known as Twitter with tweets that are now more iconic than some of his own songs. Tweets like, “I need a room full of mirrors so I can be surrounded by winners,” are what make West, West.
After his public separation from reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, he immediately started to hint towards releasing a new album. Showing up to events in masks while also being spotted in the studio led fans to believe he’s about to release an absolute classic. These fans were right as ‘Donda’ is set to come out any time soon.
Kevin Durant reportedly started dancing at the album listening party prior to flying out to Tokyo for the Olympics. With Donda on the way, it’ll be fun to look back at one of Kanye West’s most iconic tweets from the past 5 years.
Kanye West, according to fans, helped the Timberwolves improve their record with a single tweet.
‘The Life of Pablo’ is one of the greatest albums of the 2010s and during the time of its release and a few days after it, Kanye West seemed unhappy about something. So, he took to Twitter to say, ‘Imma fix Wolves.’ NBA fans interpreted this as him taking it upon himself to fix the Minnesota Timberwolves.
On February 14th, 2016, Kanye West tweeted “Ima Fix Wolves”. Before this tweet the Minnesota Timberwolves had a win percentage of 39.08%, after the tweet their win percentage increased to 40.67%. pic.twitter.com/NyoSU03Mrh

Well, in all fairness, the Timberwolves had a win percentage of 39.08% prior to this tweet (868-1,353) and following the tweet, showcased a win percentage of 40.67% (133-194). Though this is only a turnaround of 1%, it is an improvement nonetheless as it even led to a Playoff appearance.
Unfortunately, this tweet by Kanye west, was regarding the 13th track on ‘The Life of Pablo’ named ‘Wolves’. He reportedly was unhappy with how it turned out so he fine-tuned it and re-released it.
