“Can we please stop with this?”– Max Verstappen aggressively reacts to the questions related to rivalry with Lewis Hamilton.

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton have been the biggest talking point since their collision in the British Grand Prix, and apparently, Max Verstappen is tired of all the questions being asked to him about it.

After the qualifying in Hungary, Verstappen fumes at media for once again asking Hamilton about his recent series of events with Hamilton, which are constantly making the headlines.

“Can we please stop with this? All those f*ing questions all the time, even on Thursday, it’s unbelievable. We race hard, but also fair,” said Verstappen.

Though there were tensions between the two on the track during the qualifying also, solely on a competitive basis, Hamilton tried to slow the Dutch race driver before the start of their Q3 run.

Red Bull’s soft tyres gamble

The Milton-Keynes-based team surprised the experts after marching to Q2 with soft compound tyres. Despite being given more pace, they wear down more easily.

And, in higher track temperature, they get expired even faster, so Red Bull will soon be making a pit-stop and giving leverage to Mercedes on Sunday.

Verstappen confessed that if they had started the Q2 on medium compound tyres like Mercedes, they would have been on the edge of elimination.

“It’s going to be different [starting on the soft tyre to Merc’s mediums]. The grip was quite a bit higher on these tyres, we will find out tomorrow,” said Verstappen to SkyF1.

“It’s going to be really hot so naturally a softer tyre will not last as long as a medium, but nevertheless it will give us a good opportunity off the line.”

“My lap time on the medium would have really been on the edge for the top 10 so that’s why we decided to finish the lap [on the soft in Q2].”
