Commentators in ENG vs IND 2021: The SportsRush present before you a list of Sony Sports commentators for India’s tour of England 2021.

The second leg of India’s tour of England 2021 in the form of a five-match Test series against England will commence in Nottingham from tomorrow.

First time that England and India will be playing nine Tests in a year, fans should prepare themselves for yet another highly-competitive series played in English conditions.

India, whose last Test victory in England had come at Trent Bridge (2018), would want to bank on the advantage of playing at a venue where they’ve both won and lost two out of their seven Tests till date.

Contrary to how they’ve operated in the recent times, neither of England or India have disclosed their Playing XI on the eve of the match. The lack of any confirmed update regarding the Playing XIs means that fans will have to wait for another night to know who have replaced first-choice players such as Ben Stokes, Shubman Gill and Mayank Agarwal for the first Test.

Commentators in ENG vs IND 2021

India’s tour of England 2021 will be available in four languages for Sony Sports Network viewers in India namely English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The international feed (English) has a seven-member commentary panel comprising of former India captain Sunil Gavaskar, former England captains Michael Atherton, Nasser Hussain and Sir Alastair Cook, former South Africa captain Shaun Pollock, former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar and renowned presenter and commentator Harsha Bhogle.

It is worth mentioning that the English trio of Atherton, Hussain and Cook will be available from the venue.

Former India batsmen Ajay Jadeja and Mohammad Kaif and former India pacers Vivek Razdan and Ajit Agarkar, all of whom were commentating in Hindi during the Sri Lanka tour, will be joined by the entertaining pair of Virender Sehwag and Ashish Nehra for this series for calling the matches in Hindi.

It remains to be seen if Jadeja and Agarkar will continue calling the game in both Hindi and English (like the Sri Lanka tour) or not.
