“Bro You’re Getting Paddled”: When Aaron Rodgers Turned Into A TKE Frat Boy In An Imaginary World With Matt Flynn And Graham Harrell To Crash A Party
Aaron Rodgers seems like one of the calmer NFL players, but the reigning NFL MVP has had his fair share of wild stories too.
If you had to guess any NFL player who would pretend to be a Frat boy, Rob Gronkowski would be probably be at the top of your list. If not him, it’d definitely be someone who likes to party hard, and definitely not the cool and collected Packers quarterback.
However, that’s exactly what happened when Rodgers took this imaginary role very seriously with his backups Graham Harrell and Matt Flynn.

Aaron Rodgers Embraced The Inner Frat Boy In Him To Crash A Party
For some reason, in the summer of 2010, Rodgers decided that the best way to build chemistry with his new backup Graham Harrell was to pretend both of them were fraternity brothers. It all started when Harrell jokingly called the two frat brothers.
Rodgers took it to another level, however. The Packers other backup quarterback, Matt Flynn, suddenly became part of an enemy fraternity and whenever Harrell would do something good in practice, Rodgers would say things like “It’s about time you did something for the brothers.”
However, if Flynn would get the better of Harrell, Rodgers would remark with something like “Bro, you’re getting paddled when we get back to the house.”
Harrell was impressed by seriously Rodgers was embracing this imaginary world. In fact, there was once an instance that will have you laughing your head off. The Packers would often practice on the campus of nearby St. Norbert College, and so college students were pretty common around the area.
One of these students happened to be a ball boy for Green Bay who overheard Rodgers and Harrell talking about their ‘frat’ and asked them which frat they were part of. Almost instinctively, Rodgers replied “Oh, uh … we’re TKEs (Tau Kappa Epsilon)?” to end the conversation.
Things only got weirder when the ball boy said that he was part of the same frat and invited the two to a party. Rodgers doesn’t want to miss the party at any cost saying “There is no way in the world we’re missing this,” to Harrell.
The two go and end up having a great time dancing, partying, and even singing karaoke. Harrell would later recall,
“This isn’t even real life, bro,” and claims that he has never seen Rodgers happier. This kind of story has to put a smile on your face, Rodgers fan or not.
