WATCH : Luke Ronchi hits a massive six that hit a car at the petrol pump
One the most under rated batsmen in the game today, Luke Ronchi has come into the news today for hitting a massive six.
Former New Zealand wicket keeper, Ronchi is currently participating in the Super Smash tournament in his country. The powerful batsman smashed a huge six today, as the bowler could only stand and watch in disbelief.
The ball sailed over the boundary, and went into a petrol pump. Ronchi smashed a fantastic 102 off 46 balls, with 9 boundaries and 7 sixes. Ronchi was superb, as he helped Wellington to a mammoth total of 206/7.
The match eventually turned out to be a thriller of a match, as Auckland eventually won the match off the last ball as they won the match by 2 wickets.
Tarun Nethula turned out to be the hero, as he was on the strike for the last ball. With three runs to win off the last ball, Nethula hit the ball to the boundary sparking wild celebrations among the Auckland team.
With the IPL auction soon going to take place in a month’s time, Ronchi will be looking to put himself in the shop window.
