Shoaib Akhtar comes up with a wonderful message for Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli gave the world another reason to bask in his glory last night, coming up with another spectacular run-chase to give India their win first win in Durban against South Africa.
Kohli was impeccable during the 2nd innings, scoring one of the most well paced hundreds to help India chase down a tricky 270, on a track that had played a little sluggish in the first innings.
The cricketing world took to social media to express their ‘awe’ with regard to Kohli’s brilliance, as the Indian skipper had scored yet another hundred for India while chasing.
Shoaib Akhar was one of those cricketing legends who congratulated Kohli on his 33rd ton, and asked youngsters to emulate Virat Kohli’s attitude towards the game.
Another super run-chase by @imVkohli. When it comes to chases it’s either him or a Cheetah. Well done!! Hope youngsters pick this trait of @imVkohli

Having been put into the field by Faf du Plessis, it looked like India would have a tough time chasing down South Africa ‘s first innings score, as Amla and QDK had gotten off to the perfect start.
The Indian wrist spinners though pulled the game back for India, bowling miserly during the middle overs and picking up crucial wickets to always keep South Africa under check.
The Proteas were ultimately restricted to just 269 in the first innings and at the innings break it felt like the strong Indian batting would be able to chase it down easily.
Early wickets of Dhawan and Rohit though pegged India back, and Kohli and Rahane had to indulge in rebuilding the innings, in order to help India maintain parity in the match.
And the duo did so brilliantly, keeping the scoreboard ticking and taking calculative risks to inch closer to that target of 270.
Kohli brought up his ton during the chase and Rahane gave India some hope about finding a permanent batsman for the number 4 slot.
