IPL 2018 Fantasy Guide: Fantasy Tips for SRH vs DD
SRH have enjoyed an extended break after getting a string of wins under their belt, thanks to their bowling unit which has dished out brilliant performances to bail SRH out.
DD have the equation laid out in front of them, as they now need to win all of their remaining games in order to have any chance of making it to the playoffs.
The encounter promises to be a good one as DD are fighting for their lives and SRH would be hoping to string some momentum together, going into the business end of the tournament.
Let’s get to business now!
IPL Fantasy League(Fantasy Tips for SRH vs DD)
Transfer out: Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina
Transfer in: Rashid Khan, Shikhar Dhawan, Siddharth Kaul
Now, I don’t have any players from this game in my side.
The first player that I would get in for this game is Rashid Khan. Rashid has anchored SRH’s comeback in all of their low scoring games, stifling the batsmen during the middle overs and also picking up regular intervals.
Also, with no other player from this game in my side, I feel it is safest to get in a bowler, especially someone like Rashid Khan who is guaranteed to be amongst the wickets.
Now, how do you tackle these low scoring encounters in Hyderabad?
Do you get in a few batsmen or just stack your team up with bowlers?
With Rashid Khan in, Bhuvi is the other capped bowler who could be drafted in, but if I do that, I wouldn’t be able to make a 2nd innings captain, if SRH go out and bowl first.
The other reason for getting in Bhuvi could also be that he would be a little rusty after his back injury. Hence, I leave him out.
DD players do look exciting, especially Iyer and Pant, but do you risk them against the trickery of Rashid Khan? I wouldn’t.
SRH play twice in the next 4 games and hence getting in one of their batsmen could be a good option.
Shikhar Dhawan has struggled for form this season but could be a good buy for these two games, as he would enjoy the pace that the DD bowling unit have.
Kane Williamson could be a safe buy, but I expect Dhawan to tee off at least once during these two games.
For the uncapped player, I get in Siddharth Kaul into my side as he has been brilliant for SRH at the death and during the middle overs.
Match Powerplayer- Shikhar Dhawan(if SRH bat first)/Rashid Khan(if SRH bowl first)
2nd innings Powerplayer- Shikhar Dhawan/Rashid Khan(whoever operates in the 2nd innings)
Fandromeda(Fantasy Tips for SRH vs DD)
Transfer out: Suresh Raina, ABD, Yuzi Chahal
Transfer in: Bhuvi, Rashid Khan, Shikhar Dhawan
Now, I already have Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and Siddharth Kaul in my side for this game.
Rashid Khan and Shikhar Dhawan would be the first two players that I get into my side for this game.
Get in Bhuvi, if SRH bowl first, else save the transfer.
