Despite Getting Mistaken For Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal Used His $400 Million Worth To Buy 2 Kids Laptops

Shaquille O’Neal has never been one to shy away from doing the right thing. His mother, Lucille, taught him the value of giving back to the less fortunate when he was younger and since then, it’s stuck with the ‘Big Aristotle’. 

Shaq knows he doesn’t have to be as generous as he is. The former Lakers superstar has all the riches in the world, both from his playing career and passive income from a variety of investments and endorsements. He could so easily choose to turn a blind eye and live his life as lavishly as he wants. 

However, something inside O’Neal constantly tells him to do good for others. Whether it was a $50,000 donation to victims of the Buffalo shooting or simply buying moms and their kids household essentials in superstores, Shaq has always been there to provide for the less fortunate.

Shaquille O’Neal made two kids’ days while at an electronics store 

Shaquille O’Neal walked into an electronics store to do some good and was coincidentally on camera. In this video, it’s shown how two children of Spanish heritage walk into this store every day and look at all of the products, never disturbing anybody’s peace. 

Shaq takes notice of this and decides buy both of them a laptop each despite hilariously getting mistaken for Michael Jordan by them, making their day. This most certainly didn’t make a dent in Shaq’s $400 million net worth but it sure did brighten up those two kids’ days.

While O’Neal’s personal life has been marred with questionable decisions, especially on the marriage front of things, he most definitely is making up for it all with generous moves like this.

Shaq has done so much more than just donate money to organizations, which he has by the way. He’s made true connections with people he’s come across with in his life while buying them things they needed in that particular moment. 

He once bought a kid from Georgia 10 pairs of shoes, raised $2 million through NFTs for underprivileged children, started the ‘Shaq-to-school’ program where he provided basic schooling supplies to kids, and also bought a random stranger his diamond engagement ring.
