Having Been Accused Of Owing $500,000, Dennis Rodman Was Once Arrested At His Own Restaurant
Dennis Rodman has never truly played by the rules in his life. His childhood was marred with uncertainties given his familial situation with his single mother, Shirley, and two sisters, Debra and Kim. After having gotten kicked out of his house, Rodman found solace in a few odds jobs before finding his true calling: basketball.
It was in 1986 that Rodman would experience what a steady paycheck would feel like after getting drafted by the Detroit Pistons and earning $75,000 his first year. Despite his life finally having some semblance of consistency, Dennis continued down quite the path of mayhem.
Everything from excessive liquor abuse to an inordinate amount of partying with a variety of women on a weekly basis, ‘The Worm’ indulged in it all. Even in his 60s, there seems to be no stopping him when it comes to living life vicariously. This lifestyle of his however, did catch up to him more than just a few times in his life.
Dennis Rodman was arrested after refusing to give way to police officers
Dennis Rodman has had plenty of run-ins with the law and January 2002 was no different. Rodman had actually opened up his own seafood restaurant in Newport Beach, close to where he lived, around the early 2000s.
It was here that Rodman would get arrested. This was due to the fact that he seemingly violated the Business and Profession Code. This ‘code of conduct’ banned any alcohol being served past 2am. There were cars outside of his restaurant at 2:40am and this prompted local police to try to intervene.
Dennis would refuse to grant the cops entry into his establishment, leading to his arrest. A close friend of Rodman’s insisted that he was not serving alcohol past the due time and on many occasions even offered patrons a ride home in a limo so as to not have them drive him drunk.
This wasn’t the first time Dennis Rodman was arrested and it certainly wasn’t his last

In fact, the police had been called up to his residence over 70 times due to noise complaints from his neighbors. In addition to it all, he’s also had much more serious allegations made against him, most of which include s*xual assault.
