Shaquille O’Neal took to the Tonight Show to expose Charles Barkley for not wearing any underwear, which was confirmed by Barkley himself.
Inside the NBA hadn’t really taken off until Charles Barkley joined the crew in the early 2000s. Sure, Kenny Smith’s arrival in 1998 brought about a bit more flare to the show but the addition of Chuck had most of their segments go off the rails.
The early 2010s saw Shaquille O’Neal come into the picture as he quickly developed a hilarious, antagonistic relationship with Charles Barkley. Though it seems as though all the they do is bicker with one another, Barkley and Shaq have confirmed on several occasions that the two are in fact, great friends.
This didn’t stop the Lakers legend from taking to the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and revealing a hilarious secret of Chuck’s while the latter was a guest on the late night talk show.
Charles Barkley confirms that he does not wear any underwear.
The 6-minute-long interview had Charles Barkley talk about a variety of things, ranging from his guest appearance on Shark Tank to him helping out young black women and men in pursuing well-paying occupations. However, the interview eventually delved into Shaquille O’Neal being shown on a big screen in the corner, asking Chuck a rather important question:
“Charles Barkley, a source close to me tells me that you don’t wear underwear when you’re live on TV. How come you don’t wear drawers?”
The Suns legend hilariously piggybacked off of this and confirmed that he does not in fact, wear any underwear and hasn’t done so in 10 years. His reasoning was that they take up too much space in the house and so 10 years ago, he took all of his drawers and had a bonfire with them, insinuating that he burned them all.
