THU vs STR head to head: Sydney Thunder vs Adelaide Strikers head to head records in BBL history
The fifth match of Big Bash League 2022-23 will be played between Sydney Thunder and Adelaide Strikers at the Sydney Showground Stadium tonight. Having hosted the last of its 28 BBL matches in the last season, Showground Stadium will be hosting its first match of the ongoing 12th season on a Friday.
In what will be a delayed than usual start on the first double-header day of the season, both Thunder and Strikers will be playing their second BBL 12 match.
While Adelaide had defeated Sydney Sixers on Wednesday, Thunder had defeated Melbourne Stars in BBL 2022-23 opener on Tuesday. It is due to a better NRR (Net Run Rate) that Adelaide are the top of the points table as compared to Sydney’s third position.
It is noteworthy that Thunder have had a slight edge over Strikers in the history of the BBL. Playing their second home match, Thunder would be looking to build on a winning momentum.
