STA vs SCO head to head: Melbourne Stars vs Perth Scorchers head to head records in BBL history

The 12th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Big Bash League will be played between Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers at the Junction Oval making it the 11th venue to host a match this season.

Having hosted both Big Bash and Women’s Big Bash League matches this year, Junction Oval will be hosting a match only for the second time in the history of the Men’s BBL. Interestingly, this venue’s inaugural match was also played between these two teams earlier this year.

Scorchers, who’ve won the last three matches against Stars, had registered a 47-run victory in the last encounter against them at the Simonds Stadium. Part of the current squads, batter Nick Hobson, captain Ashton Turner and pacer Matthew Kelly had all done well in a winning performance in January this year.

Having won their first away match, the defending champions would be looking to win their second away match in a row this afternoon. Stars, on the other hand, are a position above Scorchers on the points table on the back of one victory and loss each in the two matches they’ve played till now. In what will be their second consecutive home match, MS would also be eyeing a back-to-back win.
