Is Darius Garland Playing Tonight Against Bulls? Cavaliers Release Injury Update on the 2022 All-Star
Cleveland Cavaliers are continuing to be one of the best teams in the East, but this season, it isn’t a surprise. Adding Donovan Mitchell to a team that already had Darius Garland and two of the best big men in the league meant expectations going higher for the team from the Land.
It looked like they will be challenging the top teams of the East and be at the Top-3. However, in the last game that the Cavaliers’ point guard and Evan Mobley played against the Indiana Pacers, brought both of them suffered injuries that might stop them from getting back to momentum.
Will the 2022 All-Star play against DeMar DeRozan and Co. tonight to stop their 4-game losing streak? Let’s see.
Is Darius Garland playing against the Chicago Bulls?
Since Donovan Mitchell arrived in the last offseason, Garland has taken his foot off the gas compared to how he was playing in the latter half of last season and has still been able to impress fans and experts equally.
But for the past few games, Garland and his team have failed to win games and he even missed the game in the loss against the Bulls because of a thumb injury in the game before it.
And for tonight’s game, he is “doubtful” and would be a game-time decision.

He will need to come back quickly and stronger if he wants to have a chance at the All-Star Team.

How has Garland played in 2022-23
Although averages of 21.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 7.7 rebounds and a team record of 23-14, are good enough for an All-Star selection in any season, it would be tough for Darius Garland to break into the All-Star team in the East.
Before getting injured he was averaging over 24 points and 7 assists per game including a 46-point performance against the Nets. He will have to put up some solid games like that when he comes back.
