“LeBron James, That’s Not Michael Jordan-esque!”: Skip Bayless Goes After Lakers Star for His ‘Winner’ Speech in Miami

The Los Angeles Lakers are on the last stop of their five-game road trip. Playing the Hornets for the 2nd and final time this season, the Lakers look to close their trip with a win. In their first meeting this season, the Hornets edged a 134-130 win. LeBron James scored 34 in that contest, but it wasn’t enough to lead the team to a win.

So far tonight, the Lakers have looked like the better team. They’re taking the ball to the rack more often, and are making the best of the same. The Lakers led by as much as 24 at a point, but since then, it’s the Hornets who have been chipping at the lead and trying to come back in the game.

As the game headed to the 4th quarter, Skip Bayless had something to say about LeBron James.

Skip Bayless mocks LeBron James for complaining about not winning

Over the last decade or so, we’ve seen one person pay attention to everything LeBron James does more than anyone else. That person is none other than a self-appointed LBJ hater: Skip Bayless. The Fox Sports analyst has made it his whole life agenda to disprove LBJ’s contention for the GOAT status while pushing the Michael Jordan agenda.

He did the same tonight as well, as the Lakers ended the 3rd quarter with an eighteen-point lead over the Hornets.

LeBron is at it again, playing bullyball … against 10-27 Charlotte. If he can do THIS at 38, why are his Lakers in 13th place in the West??? Why did he basically deliver a concession speech after the Miami loss, giving up on winning this season??? Not exactly Jordanesque.

The Lakers have been struggling ever since Anthony Davis suffered his foot injury. While LBJ is averaging over 30 points since AD’s injury, the team cannot seem to get wins.

How is LeBron faring in his 20th season?

Playing his 20th season in the NBA, LeBron James is showing us all how different he is from the others. He’s averaging 28.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists a game. These numbers are mighty impressive, as the next closest to him was Kobe Bryant, with 17.6 ppg in his 20th year.

Despite LeBron’s heroics, the Lakers have a 15-21 record and sit in the 13th spot in the West. They’re 4 and 6 in their last ten and cannot seem to find consistent ways to win since AD got injured. LeBron James is getting impatient and let the same be known when he spoke to the media in Miami.
