“Stephen Curry Has A Big Family, Klay Thompson Has Rocco”: Dell Curry Hilariously Claimed Klay’s Only Family Is His Dog
Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have been teammates on the Golden State Warriors for well over a decade now. Together, they’ve accomplished more on NBA hardwood than most duos could ever dream of, winning 4 championships together as the iconic ‘Splash Brothers’.
At this point in their careers, it feels like there is no need to break the two apart. Having a backcourt that lethal from distance is something that is extremely valued in today’s NBA. With Klay playing like he never even had an ACL and Achilles tear, at least on the offensive end of the floor, it’s safe to say that he can keep with Steph.
Curry has expressed no feelings towards wanting to leave the Warriors either. While he did say playing in Charlotte only if the Golden State thing doesn’t work out would be enticing, he’s always been ready to retire as a Warrior.
Dell and Sonya Curry discuss Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson with the latter’s parents
Dell Curry and Sonya Curry started a podcast called ‘Raising Fame; prior to getting divorced. Here, they would talk to parents of athletes all across sports and ask them what it was like to raise a child who would go on to become a world-class athlete.
One of their most anticipated sit-downs was with Mychal and Julie Thompson, Klay’s parents. Dell would hilariously comment on the fact that Stephen Curry comes from a big family while all Klay has is his dog, Rocco, who is heavily featured across his social media, especially during his boating trips.
Dell and Mychal would then go on to confirm that both of their sons would love to finish their careers off in Golden State. Mychal even says that Klay wants to enter the Hall-of-Fame with Steph and nobody else.

The Warriors as of recent
With Stephen Curry sidelined due to a left should dislocation, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole have been stepping it up on the offensive end of the floor. Most recently, Klay dropped a season-high 54 points, leading to fans claiming ‘he’s back’.
In his last 5 games, Klay has been averaging 33 points on 40% shooting from beyond the arc, all without Curry by his side.
