THU vs SCO head to head: Sydney Thunder vs Perth Scorchers head to head record in BBL history
The 39th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Big Bash League will be played between Sydney Thunder and Perth Scorchers at the Sydney Showground Stadium tomorrow. The two teams will be facing each other for the second time in the last nine days.
Thunder, who had defeated Scorchers by 6 wickets earlier this month, have won five out of their last six matches against this opposition. In what is a primary reason behind Thunder’s slight domination against Scorchers in their overall head-to-head records, the hosts will have to be wary about law of averages catching up with them.
Having defeated PS thrice in four encounters at the Showground Stadium, ST wouldn’t want to lose a home match especially after losing the Sydney derby here on Sunday.

Readers must note that Thunder have won 13 and lost 17 out of their 30 matches at this venue. Scorchers, meanwhile, have won two and lost three out of their five matches at this stadium. Although there’s a vast difference in the sample size, Perth (8.23) have a better average run rate than Sydney (7.63) here.
As far as BBL 12 points table is concerned, Thunder has won five and lost four matches to be at the fourth position. Defending champions Scorchers, on the contrary, are at the top of the points table on the back of seven wins and two losses.
