STR vs HEA head to head: Adelaide Strikers vs Brisbane Heat head to head records in BBL history
The 40th match of Big Bash League 2022-23 will be played between Adelaide Strikers and Brisbane Heat at the Adelaide Oval tomorrow. The match will be the first contest of the penultimate double-header day of this season and will be followed by a Melbourne derby at the Docklands Stadium.
Having played each other three weeks ago, Heat had registered a 6-run victory at the Gabba on the back of successfully defending a 167-run target.
As much as Strikers would be wanting to return the favour at their home ground, they would be wary of the fact that they don’t have the best of records at home against this opposition. AS, who play with an average run rate of 8.43 at this stadium, have won 38 and lost 28 out of their 66 home matches thus far. BH, meanwhile, have won six and lost three out of their nine Adelaide T20s and have an average run rate of 8.23 here.

Adelaide, however, would be wanting to bank on their slight advantageous head-to-head record against Heat in all these years. Speaking particularly about BBL 12, Strikers have won and lost five matches each to be at the third position on the points table. One of the two teams to have not played 10 matches till now, Heat are struggling at the bottom of the table on the back of two wins and six losses in nine outings.
