Is Luka Doncic Playing Tonight vs Blazers? Mavericks Release Injury Update for 6ft 7” Star
After a 7-game win streak a few weeks back, the Dallas Mavericks have suffered a 2-4 losing record. Coming off a huge 119-115 double overtime win against the Los Angeles Lakers, Jason Kidd’s boys suffered a 136-119 blowout loss vs the Blazers.
It was the lowest-scoring outing for Luka Doncic in this campaign. Yes, the Slovenian superstar did grab a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double, however, it wasn’t enough.

On the second night of the back-to-back clash, with the Mavs aiming to end their 5-game road trip with a second win, Doncic’s availability will be a huge question.
Luka Doncic is listed as “questionable” on the Mavericks injury report
The Dallas Mavericks have a total of 6 players mentioned on their injury report for the contest against the Blazers.
Tim Hardaway Jr. (left ankle sprain) is out for tonight’s game in Portland.
Luka Dončić (left ankle soreness) and Christian Wood (right ankle sprain) are questionable.
Finney-Smith (right adductor strain), Green (right elbow sprain), Kleber (right hamstring tear) all remain out.— Mavs PR (@MavsPR) January 15, 2023
While Maxi Kleber is listed as OUT, Luka Doncic, Tim Hardaway Jr., Christian Wood, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Josh Green are all game-time decisions.
It should be noted that the 6-foot-7 guard is yet to suit up for any back-to-back game this campaign. And as per the latest, it doesn’t look like he will be playing.
For Chancey Billups’ boys, the squad is going to play at their full strength. An in-form Damian Lillard will be too lethal for the shorthanded Texas-based franchise to handle.
Currently averaging 33.8/9/8.8, Luka’s contributions to the Mavs have been phenomenal. 0-4 without Luka playing, the Mavs don’t seem to be in any condition to improve that record if their star is sidelined.
