“Michael Jordan’s Situation in Chicago Was Different Than Mine!”: Giannis Antetokounmpo Channels Kobe Bryant Amidst Recent Struggles
The Milwaukee Bucks are going through a rough patch. After starting the season off 9-0, the Bucks have gone 18-16. There have been games where they have been absolutely brilliant. On other nights, they looked totally out of it and gave away games due to simple mistakes. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a historic five-game stretch to start the year.

However, since then, Giannis has seemed to cool down and struggled with a knee injury. He hasn’t played the last three games for the Bucks, during which time they have won one game. Sure, the same has affected his ranking on the MVP ladder. He was #2 on December 16 and has now fallen down to #4 on the latest January 13th rankings.

Giannis Antetokounmpo shares cryptic Twitter post
Ahead of the game against the Pacers, Giannis was seen warming up and practicing on the court with the team. However, he did not suit up for the game. Instead, he put out a post on his Twitter and Instagram.

Giannis put Kobe’s famous ‘No Excuses’ interview as the audio for the same. Kobe there talked about how it’s imperative for him to figure things out after they go wrong. You can’t just blame the situation and not do anything about it. He then talked about how Allen Iverson’s situation was different, Michael Jordan’s situation was different, and so was his.
By sharing this, Giannis would be trying to convey how he’s finding ways to get back to winning. The Bucks need him, and he needs to return on his MVP level to lead the team back to success.
Can the Milwaukee Bucks win it all again?
The Milwaukee Bucks have all the roster pieces they need to win another championship. They have a star trio of Giannis, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday. They have the role players, a solid bench, and a championship behind them.
One of the most important aspects is staying healthy. So far, the Bucks have had Khris Middleton for just seven games. He needs to get time on the court before playoffs and get back to game speed. If the Bucks stay healthy and Giannis continues to dominate, they will pose a huge threat in the East.
