Is Giannis Antetokounmpo Playing Tonight vs Raptors? Bucks Release Injury Report for 6x All-Star
The Milwaukee Bucks finally managed to end their two-game skid and get back in the win column. Hosting the Indiana Pacers, the Bucks registered a 132-119 win. Playing without Giannis, Jrue Holiday led the charge with 35 points and 11 assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo was out for a third straight game with left knee soreness.
It was a much-needed win for the Bucks, who lost two straight games in Miami to end their road trip. The Bucks were on their way to losing their 3rd seed. After tonight’s win, the Sixers and Cavaliers just trail them by half a game.
As the Bucks host the Raptors tonight, fans wonder whether the Bucks can keep the same intensity on the back end of a back-to-back and whether Giannis Antetokounmpo will finally suit up tonight.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as probable for tonight’s matchup
Things have been tough this year for Milwaukee. After losing Khris Middleton in the playoffs last season, they still haven’t gotten him back. He returned for seven games in December, but has missed 16 straight games since.
Last night Giannis warmed up with the team but did not suit up. He was a late scratch due to left knee soreness. The same is expected to be the pattern for tonight as well. He’s still on the injury report, and it’s listed as Game Time Decision.
With a tough stretch of games coming up soon, Mike Budenholzer and his staff would like not to risk anything with their MVP candidate. He might probably be a late scratch again tonight and rest against the Raptors as they come to town.
