“Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and K..”: NBA Twitter Can’t Stop Trolling as President Biden Forgets Klay Thompson’s Name
The Golden State Warriors went to the White House yesterday to celebrate their 2022 NBA Championship with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. It was a very successful trip for the Warriors right after they beat the Wizards. Klay Thompson showed up dressed in a suit and black tie as he had some ‘presidential business’ to attend.

Head coach Steve Kerr said Klay was part of the round table meeting about Gun Violence Prevention to begin the day.

It was a moment of celebration for the Warriors, who were making their 2nd White House visit in seven years.
NBA Twitter trolls as President Biden forgot Klay Thompson’s name
President Joe Biden took the podium to talk about the Warriors and how they managed to rebuild around their Big-3 after Kevin Durant’s departure. Naming the big 3, the POTUS named Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, but couldn’t remember Klay Thompson’s name.

NBA Twitter, as expected, jumped on the same, and showed no mercy even to the POTUS.

Despite the incident, Klay Thompson sure seemed to have a good time at the White House.

Can Klay Thompson be the difference-maker for the Warriors?
So far this season, the Warriors have been highly inconsistent. Stephen Curry was the bright spot, while the others struggled to start the campaign. However, once Curry got injured, Klay Thompson stepped up, and led the team to a five-game win streak.
So far, that five-game stretch was the best we’ve seen from him all throughout his career. If Klay can keep the fire ignited, the Warriors might be able to solve their offensive troubles, and can focus on other issues.
