Patrick Mahomes Reveals His Shocking Plans to Drop Iconic Hairstyle Ahead of Next Season
Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes is famous in the NFL community for a number of things. His magical playstyle, his humble, down-to-earth nature, and his iconic hairstyle. You read that correctly, his unique hairstyle is one of the things that sets him apart from every other NFL player. Although now, it seems he might be a bit too bored with his hairdo.
During his weekly appearance on ‘The Drive’, Mahomes was talking about his upcoming divisional playoffs clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars. When host Carrington Harrison raised a rather strange question: would Mahomes trade hairstyles with Jaguars’ QB Trevor Lawrence? The answer he received was even more shocking, as Mahomes basically replied in the affirmative.
“I have been thinking about switching my hair up,” says Mahomes. “This offseason, I’m thinking about doing a little change to the hairstyle, so we’ll see. I might bring the ‘Trevor Lawrence’ back next year. I’ll let Brittany and my family know, then I’ll let Head & Shoulders know. I’m sure they’ll have something to say about it.”
Head and Shoulders will definitely have a word or two for Mahomes when they realize their brand ambassador just up and changed the very thing they’d been relying on for their marketing stunts. The NFL fans might just ignore the bizarre change if he continues to leave them spellbound with his extraordinary displays of skill.
Patrick Mahomes will have to declaw the Jaguars to reach Championship game
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have a difficult opponent in the Jaguars come Sunday. Having already beaten the Los Angeles Chargers by staging the biggest comeback in their history, their morale is at an all-time high. The one thing in the Chiefs’ favor, is that they are fresh out of a bye-week. Which means they are physically and mentally more rested than the Jaguars are.
That might not be of concern to the Big Cats as they look for another prey to dismember. The Chiefs’ defensive unit will have to find ways to contain the prancing Jaguars’ offense. The same is the case for the Jaguars’ defense if they wish to win. Only they will have a much tougher time trying to figure out Mahomes’ next move.
Overall, the game seems heavily in the Chiefs’ favor, mostly because of Mahomes. However, in the NFL, it is a sin to write things off too early. The Jaguars have the capacity and the energy to stage an upset win over the Super Bowl favorites. However, they will need all their luck and skill to make that happen. Which team will end up celebrating after tomorrow, and which one will sulk in the corner?
