WATCH: Russell Westbrook Points at Former Lakers Teammate LeBron James After Drilling a Jumper Over Him
The Los Angeles Lakers are playing their final road game of the season tonight. Coming back home, the Lakers are playing on Clippers’ court tonight. The Lakers are set to match up against Russell Westbrook for the first time since they traded him away.
After LeBron James strived to trade for Russ in 2021, he wanted Westbrook gone by 2022. The Lakers tried to find a trade for him in the offseason but couldn’t. Finally, they found a suitor at the trade deadline in 2023.
Russ made his way to the Jazz, and finalized a buyout with them, only to return back to LA. This time he signed with the Clippers and has been doing very well with them. Hosting the Lakers tonight, Westbrook would be excited to play his former team, and we can see the same.
