Lewis Hamilton Flexes Trip to the Moon Thanks to Billionaire Buddy Elon Musk
Lewis Hamilton has long been a NASA enthusiast. With an undying love for science, the cosmos has always appealed to the F1 titan. In fact, he dreams of going to the moon, something that he has hoped to discuss with his friend, business magnate and billionaire, Elon Musk.
With Space X under his long list of accomplishments, Musk could make Hamilton’s dreams come true. The two are also apparently fast friends, as Hamilton recently revealed partying with one of the richest men in the world.

Talking about his ambitions to make it to the moon, Hamilton was also jokingly asked if he’d talked to Elon Musk about it. However, little did they know that Hamilton has actually been in conversation with the multi-billionaire.
These are deepest images of space history has ever seen. The universe is so powerful and every single one of us is a part of it. Thank you for sharing the universe’s magic with us @NASA. #UnfoldTheUniverse pic.twitter.com/j3Ftw7aDhS

“Funny enough…,” Hamilton began, leaving everybody listening wide-eyed. “Elon’s been to my party in Austin for the last two years.” Garnering oohs and aahs from the crowd, even George Russell was amused. “I love how you just say Elon.”
Laughing, Hamilton continued talking about “my boy Elon” joining him for his exclusive dinner parties. Joking, Hamilton played along, “I’m like, just lend me one of your ships, bro.”
Despite the major bombshell he dropped, Hamilton confessed that he too was starstruck. “It’s not the easiest thing to speak to someone like that because his mind, it’s expanded, it’s on such another level. So, I get all nervous talking to him.”
Providing his fans with a glimpse of what a conversation looks like between him and Musk, Hamilton revealed his inner science kid. Questions like “Did we land on the moon? Where are we going next?” popped up.

But does this mean Hamilton gets to go? He confirms it saying, “So, I am going, yes, at some stage, but I’m going to let some other people go first because those things blow up on the way up, yeah?”
Hamilton also talks about Musk’s plans to go to Mars, but wouldn’t mind grabbing any opportunity he gets. Russell, the quiet bystander, chimed in to say he’d only go to space depending on Hamilton’s experience.
Although Hamilton concludes his story by expressing his love for the planet he’s on, it’s no secret that the idea of going to space brings out his inner child. However, clearly being best mates with Elon Musk has its perks, so when will Hamilton cash it in?
